With our Wisewarrior website revamp imminent, Richard San and Tim San needed to take some new pictures to fill in the gaps, so Monday night took on a bit of a photo shoot atmosphere after the sword class departed. Well we captured some nice ‘grizzly’ shots of Nick San doing what he does best (causing pain!), but next we needed some new kick shots, enter Mark San! Now as you all know Mark San is the young, handsome, tall and talented member of the instructor team – hated by the 4th Dan’s! 🙂 He is our Tom Cruise…but with more height obviously!

Martial Arts, CheltenhamNeedless to say Mark San stepped on to the mat and nailed some great looking kick shots.Karate, Cheltenham

Plus of course he’s one of the young upcoming stars of the teaching team, we still hate him!! Thanks Sen, good work! 🙂

Well wednesday nights session was a lively one! With classes in Reflective Aikido, advanced Aikido, Aikido Te, Karate, Jo-Staff and Knife defence all taking place!! This unique and amazing mix of personal classes were brought to you care of the wonderful Wisewarrior instructor team of course! With some good future potential teaching skills coming from our ‘up and coming’ brown belt; Sempai Lucy. The growth of our blackbelts is of course very important to the dojo, thats why we like to run special Blackbelt sessions just for them, like the one we’re holding on March the 16th, which will cover; live Sword, teacher development, plus advanced combat awareness and perception skills, its going to be great session sens hope you can all be there!

On that very same subject of; ‘what is’ and ‘what makes a blackbelt’, try and catch Tim San’s latest blog, which sees him discussing this fascinating subject of becoming a Blackbelt, not to be missed by those who are….or want to be one!

See you in the dojo!
