Cheltenham Races always add a little bit of excitement and mystery to everyones travel plan’s during this week, but all seemed to go smoothly with most students getting to their lessons, with some picking up private lesson slots with Richard San during the quite times.

Well there were winners and losers up at the races of course but glad to say all our favorites came home in the dojo! The Wisewarrior team were in fine fettle this week, Richard San and Mark San taking care of Monday night in another replay of Sword and Aikido combined (back by popular demand!), and with an almost full team we were in full canter on Wednesday night! Our new beginners got to grips with their Wisewarrior combative art syllabus, and as usual there were high grade Aikido-Te lessons, blackbelt Katas, knife defence and everything in between! But this mix is never a problem with the range of experience that our instructors can bring to these classes.

Wisewarrior instructorsThe teaching team were back together on Saturday, but as students this time for the long awaited Black belt seminar! It was a great afternoon and good a good turnout. Tim San and Richard San taught their high grade students some of the inner syllabus that just can not be taught in normal sessions. It was one weird concept after another, keeping everyone on their toes. wpid-photo-2.JPGLook out for full write ups and more pictures in the ‘Spotlight’ and ‘Lounge’ blogs soon. It was wonderful to share a room with so many like minded individuals all trying to help each other learn, this is what we get to black belt for! 🙂

See you in the dojo!
